A pyroclastic flow from Kizimen volcano in 2012. This may be my favorite volcano photo that I've taken on any of my trips.
Kizimen volcano is a very remote volcano that lies in a protected wilderness in Kamchatka. It hasn't been studied much because of how remote it is. I was lucky enough to visit in 2012.
